A champion for a better future in Regina–Lewvan

Mac was born and raised in Regina and has spent his career working to advance Saskatchewan’s interests.

After earning a degree in physics from the University of Texas at Dallas, he completed a master’s in technology and policy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), then began a PhD focused on how science and innovation can shape public policy.

But when Ralph Goodale asked him to volunteer on his 2015 campaign, Mac paused his studies and jumped in. That decision led to several years serving Saskatchewan in senior roles within the federal government, including as Regional Advisor to longtime Regina MP and Minister Ralph Goodale and later as Director of Policy to Jim Carr, Minister for the Prairies.

During that time, Mac worked to make sure Saskatchewan had a strong voice in national decisions. He cut through red tape, coordinated across departments, and helped move funding quickly—often in challenging moments. He has a proven record of delivering for the province.

Since 2022, Mac has worked in business development at a Regina-based agri-food company with global operations. His work focuses on developing new business ideas, building new partnerships, and helping get Saskatchewan-grown crops on dinner tables across the world.

Now, Mac is stepping forward again because he knows this election matters. With President Trump threatening Canada’s economy and sovereignty, he believes Saskatchewan needs a serious voice in Ottawa—someone with a deep appreciation for this province and its people, as well as the public and private sector experience, to make government work for them.
